On the occasion of the inauguration of Anthony P. Monaco as the thirteenth president of Tufts University, Provost ad interim Peggy Newell convened a special symposium to explore the topic of “Advances in Child Development” which drew on the expertise of faculty from across the University. Special guest speaker Sir Michael Rutter, one of the world’s foremost experts on child psychiatry, delivered the keynote address.
